To our current and future Clients:
We’ve had a lot of people ask if we’re still working during the Caronavirus situation.
Yes! The Thomsen Team is still actively working with clients who want and need to buy or sell real estate. Governor Evers has deemed Real Estate an ‘essential business’.
While practicing as a Realtor does put us in contact with a lot of people, it’s not a lot of people at any given moment — and it’s easy enough to adhere to the recommended precautions and distancing between each other.
For the most part, it’s business as usual-ish. The “ish” being that we’re certainly approaching our interactions and daily travels with more thought and care than usual:
~ Face to face meetings are kept as brief as possible, and only when necessary. Zoom meetings are a fantastic way to communicate!
~ We keep the recommended distance between ourselves and others when we do meet in person. We carry hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and gloves with us – and we share!
~ We will do as much as we can remotely and without meeting in person. Virtual home tours are totally possible, from attic to basement, we can cover it all!
~ Writing an offer, completing listing documents, and any other paperwork can be done remotely with the use of platforms like Zoom and digital signature technology.
~ And of course, no hugs, high fives, or handshakes with our clients when we get an accepted offer or close on the house of their dreams. (You’ll have to take a rain check for those!)
~ And then, throughout the process, we will keep any in-person, face-to-face meetings to a bare minimum following the same protocol.
There will always be buyers looking for a new home and sellers needing to make a change. Interest rates, although fluctuating, are still incredibly low. And we continue to get multiple offers on properties. So, if you’d like to take advantage of this market, please know we’re going to do everything we can to keep us all safe and healthy while continuing to live as normally as possible.
Of course, if you want to hold off, by all means do so! We’ll be ready to assist you whenever this all settles down.
Either way, hang in there! This too shall pass.
